SINGAPORE, 06 November 2024 – Campus Game Fest (CGF) 2024 returned with unparalleled excitement this year, delivering a thrilling lineup of community-driven, student-led events that captivated over 4000 attendees across Singapore. Held at ITE College Central from October 26–27, 2024, this year’s CGF brought together gaming enthusiasts, cosplayers and aspiring esports stars, establishing itself as the premier gathering for fans in Singapore.
The CGF 2024 offered a dynamic platform featuring competitions and showcases that underscored the importance of esports and gaming education. By collaborating with educational institutions and community groups, the event helped foster a sustainable gaming ecosystem that empowers students, provides hands-on learning experiences, and nurtures emerging talent across gaming, arts, media and edutainment.
The Asia Pacific Predator League Singapore Qualifier proved to be a key highlight, with intense competition that led to a nail-biting finale. The league was just one of many draws, as the festival also hosted an unprecedented cosplay showcase with over 300 cosplayers embodying fan-favourite characters from iconic anime series and movies, bringing a vibrant atmosphere to the CGF.
The two-day fest featured various Trading Card Game (TCG) tournaments under the TCG Challengers Series, featuring Magic: The Gathering, One Piece and Grand Archive. Among these, the One Piece Flagship Battle EX tournament drew an especially strong turnout, selling out on both days with over 500 players participating. These TCG competitions offered an accessible environment for fans of all levels to compete and connect, making CGF a welcoming space for gaming enthusiasts to gather and celebrate their shared passion.
